I really hope someone makes a large alternative to the Xteink readers and competitors.

Because I really want a basic ass E-reader, but all of these 3-5" things are way too small for Manga.

If crosspoint supported a larger device I'd probably buy one on the spot.

@kaia @quad also the small size. would be nice if the chip inside it was stronger, too, it's usable but barely. this thing in full reader size plus a better chip would be amazing.

@lain @kaia they have magsafe connectors so they stick on the back of iphones too. A lot of people shill that so you can read on an E-ink display anytime

@quad @kaia i doubt anyone really uses it like that, but what do i know. i like that you can get actually good typography on these, no existing reader can compete against a basic latex compiler.

@lain @kaia I think the xteink is the sorta thing that's become cool as part of the whole "mobile phone detox" and "read more books" trends. So it's a bit overhyped. But still a nice product.

Again, I just wish there was a bigger one, since I only read manga. Manga is just a sequence of images, all I need is a digital photo frame with some page turn buttons and a basic UI for browsing.
