🎱 What AI "coding" can do to your mental health
Today:
(Somewhat) famous game developer George Broussard (worked on "Duke Nukem 3D", "Rise Of The Triad")
Feels the need to tell the world he is currently out of tokens after a "5 hour session".
Gets a snarky reply => directly has a breakdown and lashes out.
If AI "coding" is so amazing, why does it make these guys be so "on the edge" & aggressive?
Shouldn't they be happy & relaxed?

User "George Broussard":
Womp womp. Hit my Claude Code 5 hour session limit (1 hour away). $20/Pro plan (I'm cheap and rarely hit limits). No biggie. I have some Steam demos to play and needed a break anyway.
[Screenshot of some Claude output, with a section "Usage limit reached" at the end]
User "Kenney":
Oh no now you have to do actual thinking
User "George Broussard":
LOL. I'm way more than capable bro. Written tons of code. You're one of those insufferable types I guess? I grabbed a hammer. Any creation by anyone it the reflection of the craftsperson not the tools. Grow up. Newsflash: virtually every AAA dev you know is using ai coding to some degree or knee deep in explorations. They just don't talk about it due to people like you. This is like people in the 90s talking shit about Photoshop because it wasn't a real art tool. Yes, that happened.
