Are any of alternative Matrix server projects alive and up to date at the moment, or should I just give up and install Synapse?

@drq it's damn annoying, I’ve had my fair share of complete bullshit with conduwuit which eventually just fucking exploded and haven't tried to self-host the matrix ever since. But, eh, I'm still using it

@drq @lnkr @doskel i use continuwuity and it just works for me, idk o.0 text, images, stickers, voice messages, rooms, spaces - all work fine
