Are you asking about music, or audiobooks specifically? I haven’t tinkered with audiobooks so am not sure if that’s handled differently…

For music I’ve been using Jellyfin as the server. On Android have tried a bunch of different apps, substreamer and Symfonium are the better apps. But I also like Fintunes, Jellify, and Resonus.

Fun fact: You can use most OpenSubsonic / Subsonic compatible apps with Jellyfin once you add the Subfin plugin (github.com/williamkray/subfin-plugin).
