Every single law enforcement agency does this and far worse. The FBI atf NYPD (even if you’ve never been to that time zone) and postal inspector service all have your analytics page from pornhub.
But it’s suddenly a problem when the FTC starts doing it.

This argument is fucking stupid and you should feel bad for using it.
Bad things that have already happened do not justify more bad things happening.
They also seem to be under the impression that the SEC and FTC are interchangeable acronyms, rather than distinct agencies with different responsibilities. Nowhere in the article does it mention the FTC. So it’s only reasonable to conclude they have no idea what the discussion is even about. This kind of ignorant and apathetic commentary belongs back on Reddit.
