Is the most likely doom scenario of an AI apocalypse another version of the very hungry caterpillar story, where instead of having an insatiable amount of hunger for food, it's knowledge?
So that at the end of the doom scenario, the whole world turns into a giant computer just so the AI can solve a difficult puzzle?

On the first day, it ate one book.
On the second day, it ate 2 websites
On the third day, it ate three videos.
On the fourth day, it ate four libraries
On the fifth day, it ate 5tb of porn
On the 6th day, it ate one google, a reddit, a slice of LinkedIn, a flock of cameras, Wikipedia, a bookstore and all the YouTube comments.
That night it had a memory ache.
The next day, it built a cocoon, and came out as 1000 data centers.
