@phnt While I somewhat suspected this is bait, I agree it does represent the flawed European mentality on this topic very well.
@phnt @Phobos @mischievoustomato that's why also have a lot of disdain for the 'basic bitch racism' that the european right has been moving towards, it doesn't understand the underlying issues and fights against windmills.

@mischievoustomato @Phobos @phnt they just do the worth of all worlds, they make it hard to immigrate legally (if you don't have a uni degree), make it easy to immigrate illegally, then make it hard for those illegals to actually start to work, while giving them tons of benefits. the same nationalities who are 'problematic' in europe are just good workers in many other parts of the world.
@lain @Phobos @mischievoustomato The problem is those nationalities can be good workers in other parts of the world, but the people from those nationalities coming to Europe are the lowest of the low when it comes either to morale or manners. The stuff they do here, they would be hanged in their home country.
The point isn't getting skilled workers with ethics. If it was the case, the current problems would barely exist.

@phnt @Phobos @mischievoustomato yeah, i don't agree about the 'skilled' part (an unskilled honest worker will become a skilled one in short time), but if you set all the systems to pull in bad actors and push away good actors, what a surprise, 'you get what you fucking deserve'.
