People only click like and subscribe because their other options were taken from them. They got tired of the people speaking up so removed the options to do so.

You’re right that most influencers aren’t worth knowing any further, but Hank is one of the exceptions. I wouldn’t even call him an influencer honestly, that’s way WAY too generic of a term for what he’s done. His excitement for knowledge and learning, and spreading the things he learns, has helped a generation with thinking skills and getting them interested in the sciences.
On the software side there’s plenty of linux alternatives to the windows only stuff. Not at my computer to check program names, but my 12 side button mouse is just as usable as it was back on windows.
