It could be that their work schedule makes it so they’re not home for meal times, but are home for other times

It could be that people happened to be traveling for this and most cats are fine with an occasional day or two home alone.

It could be that some of them are really bad with daily scheduled tasks and need something to help take that load off.

Maybe consider not being super judgemental about how people manage their pets, there’s perfectly reasonable reasons why people might want, or even need, an auto feeder.

So a 100 amp hour battery rated at 3c can push out 300 amps. Which also means that if the grid needs a short spike in power, it might be limited.

It shouldn’t be too hard to get a 15c LiPo battery, which could push 5x as much energy at peak demand.

You’d probably kill the battery if you charged it from 0-100 at 15c, but for short bursts of charging and discharging, it should handle it just fine.

You can absolutely handwrite tests in any subject.

You can also provide workstations with no internet access for programming if you need an IDE/Compiler/etc.

Before that I used Windows for my console PC, and I can honestly say that CachyOS is easier to use than Windows, and less likely for an update to break something.

Nobody knew how to handwrite before someone taught them. That’s what school is for.

I have two cars made after 2020. Both have a phone app where you can set the internal climate settings in the car. You wouldn’t practically be able to do that from a keyfob.

Both also allow remote starting from the phone, with a setting for how long to let the car run before it turns off again. From a keyfob it’s normally set to 5 minutes with no option to change it.

Both are quality of life features that aren’t really required, but I do use them pretty regularly. If the internet stopped working on either car, they’d act just like any older car that didn’t have those features.

Once the bluetooth stack updated and both steam and the OS were fighting for which one was doing the controller emulation for the nintendo switch pro controllers. I just went in and turned off the OS controller support in the bluetooth settings.

Well, most cars don’t REQUIRE it, but most cars lose features if it doesn’t have network connectivity.

Good luck finding a car made after 2020 that doesn’t have at least one or two features that require the Internet to function.

That’s it. It’s impossible to not absorb the stupidity of AI if you at least have to handwrite the answer.

The only thing stopping this is that teachers are used to the convenience of computer submitted work, remote learning, and disability workarounds.
