I don’t not want to see women squatting, but will pass on Ai generated models of that though thanks.

Still works just fine on Vivaldi. Only problem is every few updates they break it and it needs to be reinstalled. I’ve lost a bit of faith in Vivaldi for doing this. It’s one thing if they can’t code around the chromium core to allow it, but since it still works and the updates are just disabling it I think that’s pretty dirty.
Beats a server farm down the street from you. I’d subscribe if he didn’t explicitly ask for me not to.
Nicely written piece and pretty clever technique.

If this was in 1992 ok, valid point. Anyone currently forcing doctors to use pagers when secure alternatives that allow for better communication exist deserves pushback.

Yeah if you back too far it sucked. If you go to far toward the present it sucks too. Bell curve of performance which is not what I would have expected, but it’s what we got. Paid optimization has really fucked it.

Even if the user name was correct, after a full search turned up no evidence of wrongdoing or behaviors consistent with the allegation, it should have been insufficient for sentencing.

More like the shit police work and complete lack of evidence. How the hell could that make it through the courts all the way to sentencing?

Triggering headline I know but if you rtfa this is to deal with a real problem with 911 services. The vast majority of time one or two people can man a 911 line effectively even in a moderate sized city. However when a publically visible event occurs or mass casualty situation occurs there is a major triage problem sorting through redundant reporting of the same issue. A simple screen activated in these events that can be easily bypassed to reach a human if there is actual acute distress can free the human up to focus on the most relevant calls more quickly.
This is piss poor low effort reporting as the most relevant take on this would be to get ahold of an actual 911 call responder and get their take on this.

I took the time to read the fine print, and these glasses appear to sense the vector of reflected light and specifically filter out waves with a horizontal orientation. The processimg power needed to do this will mean these must have an uncomfortably large battery or require frequent charging.

To be clear, “normal” people are using LLMs like crazy. This I believe is specifically talking about is installed local agents. Boomers and non tech industry suits are using LLMs left and right and won’t shut up about them.
