If you ascribe any level of sentience or intelligence to a computer, you definitely feel much less dumb than you actually are.
And who are you to assert that? How well defined is sentience already?
I 100% say as a sentient human being that no llm I have used has any sentience. It can’t even understand its own output.
You can say it, but that’s not a proof
so. this is definately something phenomenological. not all knowledge is based on proofs but all proofs are based on postulates deep down.
Correct, but phenomenology can be more precise than one opinion
the experience of the individual is important and can’t be dismissed without throwing it out.
