1.) The driver will molest an unaccompanied minor.
2.) The driver will sexually assault me.
3.) The driver will drive me somewhere remote and rob me.
4.) The driver may be drunk/distracted/unfamiliar with our laws and will crash.
Some people are 'annoyed' by drivers that try to strike up a conversation, but I don't hear that as a reason people *won't* take a cab, merely that it makes the experience worse. (for them, obviously)

@markc568 @ai6yr I suspect there are a lot of people who are socialized not to trust other people. (regardless of race) Waymo, (unlike Tesla) has a pretty consistent experience.
