OK but seriously, weren’t they already using AI for modding for quite a while?
I think they had AI doing the banning reddit-wide, this is just for subreddit specific moderation? I think? I dunno, I dont care enough to find out lol.
I’ve been suspended from reddit like 8 times, every single one of them was a AI decision and every single one of them was a extremely obvious joke, for example, one of the jokes was about me running with scissors, the bot decided that was threatening someone with violence.. So I guess reddit users will just see more of that from now on. Not sure if it matters much though, 90% of the comments are the same stupid jokes from 10 years ago anyway, they’ll just get a bit more bland and boring.
Yeah, this sort of shit’s been going on for years.
