Fairphone 6+ is now official and coming to the US
TLDR: it’s a spec bump for the processor and RAM. One question I personally had is does that mean the motherboard is backward compatible with the og FP6?

The lack of 4k 60fps video recording is a bummer for me personally.

There’s no way the human eye can resolve 4K in full detail at the scale of a phone.
I misread, my bad. I thought they were talking about viewing, not recording.
TIL it’s impossible to view a phone video on any other device.

Original comment was lamenting inability to record at 4k 60 FPS, but I thought they wanted to view 4k on the phone, like with a 4k display. If I remember right, the detail would be too fine to really matter on a phone screen, but if you’re recording instead, you can obviously just watch on something else and I sound like an idiot.
