@lnkr I found another peertube account that is hosted on an IDN @lfdi_pressestelle and is federating with Plamenu. So you are right this was just that specific server being wonky

the tag works only with the TLD written in punycode. but the top version is actually correct.
heres another unicode bug. I tried to follow this person but its seemingly hungup on request and the username part is still showing in punycode
