heres another unicode bug. I tried to follow this person but its seemingly hungup on request and the username part is still showing in punycode

@lnkr I scrolled to a random russian post and the translate worked great!then came across this one https://suya.place/objects/d9f34b85-8630-4239-8a20-04fe4ed0ceb7 and its set to "english" so it didn't offer translation. might add it in the ... menu as an option even if the post has a different language set?

@lnkr I agree you don't want to get too out of hand in supporting totally different features. I guess trying to figure out where your borders and edges are for this project is gonna need to happen sooner or later.

without adding too specific bookwyrm support you could show their native post content without using the flattened image version they make for mastodon.

some neodb / bookwyrm support in some way could be cool. in the sense Plamenu is an everything app sense...

@lnkr @fediforum_demos ah cool looking good now. and the mentions work again. I did notice that @fediforum shows 7 videos and @fediforum_demos only shows one, but they should have the same amount I would imagine. maybe its from you refreshing one of the actors and not the other tho?

@lnkr I didn't realize phanpy was using google translate, interesting. so the libretranslate support is already working its just turned off atm?

Since you seem to be on a implementation spree @lnkr we could probably use some inline translation like Phanpy does. They way its done there is pretty perfect, and when I am playing in Plamenu's interface I miss it right away
