Heat is the worst form of energy. It’s super hard to extract energy at all from it. Basically, you can’t extract energy from heat itself, you can only extract it through the process of heating something up. So you always need a cold component that gets heated up and a hot component that does the heating.

Without a cold component, you can’t extract energy from heat.

Don’t worry, the phones don’t have to be repairable as long as they are waterproof.

Mozilla hasn’t been a great advocate for openness for a very long time. They are just a little less bad than Google, but mainly so because they only control the browser and nothing else. If they had more resources they’d be exactly like Google.

I use their stuff for exactly that reason: they are not as powerful as Google, but make no mistake, they are just like the others.
