One of the TomsHW commentors made a good point: if this slop actually gets to a state where it functions properly for a lot of workflows, then it can help people chained to Windows because of Adobe products be liberated and move to Linux.

The only thing more tonedeaf and Microslop-like would be to offer Copilot subscriptions to try and hallucinate the data back.

The Challenge - From September 1 to 30, 2026, complete each one of the categories below with a unique post or comment:

I came up with this to encourage a greater variety of posts and comments to niche communities, with the support from people who usually just comment occasionally and lurk.

Participants will evaluate their own progress. If you get a score of 10/10, you will win a virtual Lemmy Gold Star, and hopefully everybody will win a noticeably more active Threadiverse in the smaller communities!

Remember to be respectful and follow rules of the instances and communities you post to.

Maybe the problem was with the wording all along. Republicans might be able to get behind an American Prosperity Fee (on wealth).
