The Breakfast Club was a 1985 movie depiction of teen rebellion for GenX teens written and directed by John Hughes where the teens act out against the rules and are smarter than the adults around them.
Not to be confused with “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” which was a 1986 movie depiction of teen rebellion for GenX teens written and directed by John Hughes where the teens act out against the rules and are smarter than the adults around them.
I prefer the latter to the former.
