I think I can find countless comedy tv show scenes where some character says something like “ugh I am going to kill him” to show frustration, but it’s perfectly obvious it’s just an expression.

Did you never say you want to “murder/shoot” someone out of frustration or as a joke to a close one? Imagine the FBI coming for you because of that.

I think you are overestimating the capacity and will of advertisers to actually identify people like that. The data may be available for it in theory, but it’s unlikely they built the systems to make it happen because they don’t really have much economical interest to do so. They care about market segments, not individuals.
