@panos @catusr Based on my research, E2EE is not in a good place right now. Until there’s some sort of standalone client, even a proof of concept or server-specific one, I don’t see a viable reference point. Server-bundled WIP implementations are not it, there should be a client, and client should own the MLS cryptographic state

It’s similar to some extent. Come to think of it, custom shims might be the bread and butter of my entire project, helping me work around my own expectations, ActivityPub, and established best practices, (hopefully) for the sake of interoperability and accessibility. And tbh it wasn’t exactly straightforward, rather it was one of those instances where I was lost for a moment and kind of had to turn to some pesky AIs to figure out the shortest path and E2E-test a potential solution. Perhaps not the best one, but a solution nonetheless.
I really hope that, eventually, I’ll be able to turn shims like these into PRs that improve interoperability and accessibility for the whole Fediverse the same way I was randomly able to to push for quoteposting improvements in Mitra

Oh, thanks for bringing that up. It’s really important to me, and I mean it. For some reason, I hadn’t made a direct-enough connection between cognitive load and what I think about when it comes to accessibility. In hindsight it seems stupidly obvious, I've been chasing that idea for years, yet somehow I missed it.

@shojivr Yeah, happens. I used to be very focused specifically on a nonstop failure chains, it took me a while to realize that, depending on your mood, you can attach much more significance and importance to individual setbacks than you did during a time when things were generally a little better. I found it to be an important realization to have and keep in mind, even while sometimes it really is just one crap after another with no mental workarounds about that

@wakest this one should be fixed now. I wasn't able to make them combined due to technical complications, but it should now be a single notification per post, whatever wins in "mention > quote > status if post notifications enabled" precedence, this also applies to push notifications and should be able to notify you of some type of interaction if you have some notification categories disabled

Или не работает почему-то? В таком случае я что-то недавно на схожую тему слышал про TouchBlocker (PlayStore), я не пользовал, но мало ли, вдруг это как раз оно.

@liaizon ooooh, this one looks so much better, I can at least feel some involvement of the people who happen to know what they're talking about. Still, I'll believe it when I see it, preferably with LTE kit, there is still a handful of red flags there if you ask me, with "funded in 6 minutes on kickstarter" label being one of them
