Quotes are such a mess tbh. Moderately cool fact: Plamenu shows the "RE: quoted_url" fallback until it gets proper approval and can embed the quoted post, so no matter how bad things get, you're always able to follow the context one way or another. I found it to be a reasonable middle ground between consent and usability. Clients like Phanpy sometimes can smooth it out into what looks like a continuous quoting chain even if the quoting misbehaved multiple times through it.

@liaizon @wakest I might as well. I'm not very familiar with it and therefore not exactly thrilled to rely on it, so I'm gonna take a closer look.

Thinking about it again, I should probably postpone that and focus on getting Plamenu open-sourced now and getting criticized for implementing the vital parts of the whole thing incorrectly before I take a swing at entirely new categories of interaction.

@wakest @liaizon and if I'm making the realtime channel for webxdc, should I also add calls? Does calling people over fedi make any sense whatsoever?

@wakest I'd say downgrade that to moderate-sized news at best. This is by no means properly sandboxed and secure, it's lacking the realtime channel for now, I'm barely the right person to author a proposal for this thing, and if I am, I'd rather wait until we get the E2E going and Connection-Allowlist available in all major browsers.
Still, might be a fun idea to play around with.

@wakest @liaizon Lemmy's client API is different enough to require a slightly awkward compatibility layer, and adding it without messing up the Mastodon API means threading the needle a bit. But it might work! I've added experimental support and did some quick-and-dirty testing in Photon, this could be a start. Photon restricts the server types it allows you to connect to to Lemmy and PieFed, so I had to deploy a patched version that also approves Plamenu at https://photon.plamenu.com. Give it a try!

An amusing side effect of trying to have it every which way at once was PeerTube channels showing up in Photon because, well, technically those are groups too. I'm sure it's fine! 😁

У ИИ есть ряд конкретных артефактов, которые люди практически никогда не делают, просто за счёт того, что они очень специфичны для диффузионных моделей и очень неспецифичны для человека, у которого просто никакого контекста нет подобные артефакты извлечь откуда-то из себя или своих инструментов. За "практически", естественно, огромного диаметра дьявол кроется.

Чисто теоретически, где-то может существовать толковый гайд. Другое дело, что я пока таких не видел, так что да, лучше подобное фуфло не распространять лишний раз. Тем более, что за счёт соседствующей тематики, большинство из них нейронками же и сгенерировано, и не имеет никакого отношения вообще ни к чему, включая тараканов в голове публикующего.
