As a beautiful gesture from the Artists for Gaza group, mangoes were distributed to the children.
We chose mangoes because many families in Gaza have very limited access to fresh fruit. They are healthy and nutritious, and for some of these children, it may have been the very first time they had ever tasted a mango.
