I have been frustrated about some of the interaction with Claude and a screen reader so built a Claude skill using Claude I call ClaudeSpeak to improve things. Suggestions, contributions and such are welcome. Maybe there are better approaches or other ideas. New in QuickMail 0.8.37: you decide what a message list row says.

View > Message List Fields lets you check the pieces you want — sender, subject, date, unread, attachments, source folder — and move each one with Alt+Up and Alt+Down. A preview updates as you go.

"Tell me about unread but never say read" is now a setting rather than a wish. Messages, conversation groups and sender groups each keep their own arrangement.

QuickMail 0.8.37 is available with a host of new features and bug fixes.

Adding an account now asks three questions instead of ten. You choose what each message list row says out loud, and in what order. You can watch a conversation and have future replies collect in one folder. There is a native build for ARM PCs and more.

This one is a pre-release: please download and install it yourself. Automatic updates will not offer it yet.

It will be very interesting to see what price point they are able to support here. My initial trial of some English voices is that this is well done.

If you use my WeatherFast app, I have an update for the Windows version that adds a lot of the functionality that has been added in the iOS version since January. github.com/kellylford/WeatherF I'm trying to keep the features aligned but the user experience is different in a Windows desktop app versus an iOS app. This also has a full installer and options for getting updates.

WeatherFast 3.0.0 is a complete rebuild of the Windows app — same free data (no
account or API key), with a much larger feature set, a proper installer, and
signed binaries.
