@gedankenstuecke @pat_dev @codefloe well, to be fair…there are some codebases which are internal/private or closed source or for a client or whatever which I wouldn't expect I can host on Codeberg. Having a freemium/commercial service for such projects as an option is a valuable concept IMHO.

I'm just finding it quite bizarre for the commercial service to be criticizing the communial one. They serve different needs in my mind. "why not both?" meme, etc.

@pat_dev @gedankenstuecke @codefloe Um, literally the reason I'm interested in using Codeberg is ethical. If I only cared about technology I'd probably just go use GitHub because it's the default option and "everyone" is there.

As for this particular thread, you started it by publicly pointing at Codeberg's vote on LLM policy and making it a sales pitch for your own service. If you're going to dish it out, you'd better take it.
