Voice transcription predates AI. I remember using a piece of software called dragon back in 2010 to transcribe my dissertation.

Echo Dot
There’s not enough information in the article. For example has complaint actually been raised, because it’s sort of sounds like she’s just complained online about it but hasn’t actually done anything official.
It also doesn’t apply outside the US (there’s a whole planet out there guys) so regardless of the nuance of its construction, it isn’t relevant here anyway.
A local bar has banned them already with a sign that basically says “this ban is as much to prevent you from getting punched as anything else”.
In theory they shouldn’t be a problem because I think there’s a little LED that lights up when the camera is on, but in practice people don’t know that so assume the worst.
That’s like the least offensive use of AI as well. I’m perfectly fine with voice transcription that’s hardly even an AI
Not to defend the glasses because they’re obviously a problem, but that’s more an individual doctor issue than a problem with the product.

Not if they don’t already have the infrastructure in place. Remember that these power stations were built 30 odd years ago. No one expected climate change to get this bad this quickly even in the most pessimistic of models.

The big problem is it’s really hard to have a conversation you can reply to someone and they can reply to you but the UI does not lend itself well to having a multi-person conversation, so at the moment you try and involve more than two people it just becomes a mess.
Plus I cannot stand with the fact that when somebody quotes a comment their response is placed above the original quote. Meaning I always read them out of order and don’t understand it until I remember that I need to read it bottom the top and now it makes sense.

I’m just don’t really find the Twitter experience to be all that much use. I was never a big Twitter user anyway.

The stupid thing is there are already profitable VR games that basically do exactly what Zuckerberg was trying to do. Some help despite the fact that he could just copied somebody else’s homework he managed to screw it up.

Fancy being a top economist and therefore being privy to knowledge that is beyond the capabilities of us mortals. We thought the AI was a profitable business, and it turns out it’s a giant scam, who would have thought it?

GTA online is unplayable anyway. You can’t get anything done because the moment you log in you immediately get blown up by a 12 year old flying a motorcycle with infinite rocket launchers around. In what way is that supposed to be a fun gaming experience?

It’ll be at least a year until GTA 6 comes out on PC it always takes them forever to release on PC.
I was excited for the game but personally I don’t trust them anymore.

Not really sure what that supposed to mean, as I am sure you are aware since dysons spheres do not exist I’m not quite sure how you’ve come to the conclusion they were wrong about them. You haven’t actually pointed to anything specific you’ve just mentioned two general topics. I want links thank you very much you’re the one that’s making stupid accusations.

Can yo specifically point to some problematic content, because so far you’ve just complained

The tracking is also entirely unnecessary. People walk around with GPS enabled phones in their pockets the entire time you don’t need a separate CCTV camera network. At least with GPS enabled phones the only people who can track you with the government, but the cameras have been monitored by a corporation these days people tend to trust the government more than the corps, although it is a close run thing.

I like to respond to that with posts about how many people have died of heat stroke recently and make comments about how they’re all really old. That usually gets their goat because they know climate change is real they just don’t want to admit it because that would require them to take some responsibility.

I don’t know how people do that job, I did it for week and couldn’t stand it.
