Yeah, sure, 80% is the number when including games that are digital only.

Solely for when a page only works in Chromium based slop.
I’ve heard this every 3 years since I stopped using MySpace.

I used that until I got banned for saying nazis deserve to be dead lmao
So now as mainly a lurker I am stuck to coding out of spite.

I’ve been contemplating setting my phone to block any number that I don’t have saved but also setting my voicemail to explicitly state that, and to text or email or whatever. I feel like most normal people would understand how bad spam calls are and would, hopefully, try to reach you if it was important.

I used python to write a program that bypasses the login prompt and displays the site in a wrapper that’s identical to old reddit. It’s honestly been kind of fun adding in features that were removed from the site years ago. Fuck spez and fuck all of his admins.

They’ve been doing it long before AI images too. Most photoshops got them too.

I would absolutely hack a car to remove garbage like this. The people who paid the cost of entry for these cars may be putting up with it now, but that won’t go on forever as it slips down the model line into cars normal people can acquire.

Is this why the actually good Google Earth Pro is being sunsetted for the much worse web-only version? So they can push horseshit like this on us?

I would hack my car to get rid of this shit, absolutely.

And if they did, all the tech in schools probably wouldn’t be as big a problem. Who tf learns coding from scratch on a tablet?

Flashbacks to being in elementary school in like 2004 and they had to teach us how to use calculators. “Had” is a strong word. They literally spent an entire day of math one day telling us how to use a normal non-graphing calculator. I distinctly remember hearing “don’t hold it like a Gameboy, don’t use your pencil to press the buttons,” and even then thinking how useless of a day that was. They wanted it to still seem so important. Remember, you won’t have one of these in your pocket every day.

Most people on reddit joined after the official app came out. I cannot imagine using that absolute shit heap of an app, let alone reddit in general anymore.

That is a lot more than a lot of people get. Especially the healthcare and laptop thing. Healthcare usually ends immediately and you don’t get any gifts on the way out.

I am so happy I built a new computer at the end of 2024. It may realistically last me two decades at this rate. I got one decade out of the last build.
