To be fair, every time I’ve had to setup a new iPhone for a relative the transfer data feature just freezes up the phone and I have to force restart things and try again.

Nintendo are scumbags but this isn’t scummy. You can’t expect money back for everything you buy if and when they get discounted.
I was trying to work out the same thing. The whole idea of Framework is a repairable and modular product in a market where most products are entirely the opposite.
