This has been there playbook for a long time. When the Red Lines collaboration came out they pivoted to their own astroturf versions, www.safe.ai and aiimpacts.org funded by OpenAI and META, which hyped up AI’s threat capability while ignoring all the real immediate harms.
They even have their own astroturf SuperPAC, Build American AI, trying to stand in the way of government regulation on AI which is dressed up to look like concerned citizens including fake grassroots advocates.
red-lines.ai300+ prominent figures endorse Global Call for AI Red LinesGlobal Call for AI Red Lines — urging binding international agreements to prevent unacceptable AI risks by 2026. Signed by 300+ prominent figures, Nobel laureates, and 90+ organizations. That’s potentially the dumbest use case I’ve heard so far. Bro uses fucking LLMs to sync files.
Ah, by short project you meant masturbation? I think most people assume project to mean job or work being done, even if a passion project. Idgaf about your masturbation slopper but I would prefer if it cost less energy to the grid.

pretty good at short projects and answering any question that has any source available online
If it has a source online then the AI does nothing but obscures and pollutes that information until it is commonly wrong and/or useless.
Any “short project” utilizing AI deserves to fail, and it will, because nobody wants to buy slop and the mere inclusion of AI degrades to value of everything it touches.
I was raised Catholic, actually. Went to bible camp every summer, sang in the choir. The book is fantasy fiction and the preacher’s livelihood depends on convincing people that all good things come from god and all bad things come from humanity.
I stand behind Leo’s message 100%,
but you have to admit it is kind of funny that the original gaslighter organization which uses positive reinforcement to brainwash people into worshiping a deity of their own creation is trying to stop tech companies from doing the exact same thing, lol.
