It does work for me at least. So our schedule is stored locally, it seems.

I use it to make sure that our pets don’t go hungry for long. So that they don’t eat everything and then have to wait for 6 or 12 hours until the next feeding. So I just feed them every two hours automatically.
My pets got fed through the entire outage. I did not care to get a 100% reliable solution, as it is just a convenience for us. Not something we rely on. Actually relying on 100% on this is a bad idea.
At this point the most annoying part for me has been the wild amount of emails and info about this outage.

This was pretty much the only thing I used Google Assistant for. I bought six Google devices. I thought I would use it for more things, but I ended up just using it for timers when making food or when I was resting and wanted to rest for 30 minutes before I do some chore.

Cortecs.ai, I run Deepseek V4 Flash, Minimax M3, and GLM 5.2 from there. All hosted on European servers. You just add funds, and then use it until empty. No unexpected bill.

“… if anything, people are trained not to download Word documents. Plus, he noted, looking at the blurred example in the report, the malicious document contained an additional apparently blank page which held the concealed prompts in white text.”
Yep, defence starts with people not opening Word documents 🤦♂️

Norwegian have forgårs which means the day before yesterday. It’s used a lot, it’s surprising English does not have a word for this. Is the most common way: 2 days ago?

German humor. (Yes, seriously)
They joke about efficiency/optimization etc. One of them is a man visiting a small grocery shop with the intention of buying some olives.
It start by him asking the price for a glass of olives. What about two? What about 5? etc. prices per glass goes down for each increase.
Then you see him leaving the shop with several large boxes of olives.
